Mahindra Bolero To Soon Get Dual-Tone Exterior Finishing

We all know that Mahindra is gearing up to introduce the facelifted TUV300, which will be known as Bolero Neo. It is likely to be positioned as a more premium version of the existing Bolero, which is also set to get some new updates to keep things fresh. Recently, the 2021 Mahindra Bolero has been spied in a new dual-tone red & grey exterior shade. However, it was retaining its usual appearance with hardly any differences to the exterior design.

The updated SUV was featuring a glossy grey color paint scheme on the front grille, bumper, and body cladding, whereas the rest of the body (except for the ORVMs) was coated in contrast red color. The new paint scheme is undoubtedly giving the Bolero a much premium and sporty appeal. However, the rugged SUV design has been left untouched. We believe it could get various dual-tone color options as part of the update. As of now, the Bolero is available in three monotone color choices: White, Brown, and Silver.

The Interior of the 2021 Bolero is yet to be seen, but we don't expect any major changes inside the cabin. However, the interior could get a fresh cabin theme, updated upholstery, and a few other convenience features along with a passenger-side airbag. Features like a 2DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity support, manual AC, central locking, digital instrument cluster, power steering, power windows, keyless entry, driver side airbag, ABS, rear parking sensors, etc will be carried forward.

Mechanically, the updated Bolero is likely to remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the existing 1.5-liter 3-cylinder mHAWK75 diesel engine that churns out 76PS and 210Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox that drives the rear wheels of this body-on-frame SUV. The Bolero also gets the micro-hybrid system, which helps the SUV generate an overall mileage of over 21.0kmpl.

In terms of pricing, the updated Mahindra Bolero is expected to be slightly expensive than the ongoing model which retails from Rs 8.40 lakh to Rs 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It doesn't have any direct rival in the Indian market.
