Mahindra BE6 Sporteq Interior Leaked; Launch On August 15

The interior of the Mahindra BE6 Sporteq has been spied undisguised ahead of its official debut on August 15, 2026, revealing what it will look like. And as we reported earlier, it features an updated dashboard layout, devoid of the halo-like design around the driver’s area.

The SUV also features a front passenger’s entertainment display, completing the three-screen setup. A similar setup is already available in the Mahindra XUV 7XO, XEV 9s and XEV 9e.

As of now, the BE6 comes with a dual-screen setup, which is expected to be retained in its lower-spec trim.

One can also observe a new dual-tone black-and-tan colour scheme for the seats and dashboard, which gives it a more premium appeal. Furthermore, the removal of the halo loop frees up space for a second cup holder, while the wireless charger and Type-C ports are now more accessible to the front passenger, unlike in the current version.

Battery and Range

While Mahindra hasn’t revealed the BE6 Sporteq’s technical specifications, it is expected to be offered with both 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options. Irrespective of the battery capacity, the BE6 comes with a rear electric motor making up to 286hp and 380Nm, with a claimed range of up to 682km on a single charge.

Expected Price and Rivals

The BE 6 is already a well-equipped SUV, and these updates could further enhance its appeal against rivalling SUVs like the Tata Sierra EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Vinfast VF7. Expect the BE6 Sporteq to command a slight premium over the outgoing variants, which are priced between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
