LML Makes A Comeback With 3 Electric Two-Wheelers

The iconic two-wheeler brand LML has finally made a comeback with three new electric vehicles (EVs): LML Orion (e-bicycle), Moonshot (electric bike), and Star (electric scooter). They are likely to be launched in the second half of 2023 in India. Over the next three to five years, LML plans to establish a vast dealership network across the country.

LML STAR

Based on the Italian Piaggio Vespa PX scooter, the LML Star was a renowned name back in the 90s. It has been revived now in an all-new electrified avatar, featuring a maxi-styled futuristic design. It has a display on the front facia/apron that can show a personalized message. The e-scooter also gets an auto on/off LED headlight, LED DRLs, a digital rider’s console with smartphone connectivity, and haptic feedback on the handlebars for navigation. Underpinnings include a telescopic front fork and possibly a monoshock setup at the rear with an aluminium swingarm. For anchoring, it gets disc brakes at both ends.

While the technical specifications of the LML Star are under wraps, it might feature swappable battery technology.

LML MOONSHOT

LML Moonshot is an electric bike with a supermoto-like design. It features a naked frame with key elements including an upright handlebar, a long single-piece bench-style seat, high-rise beak-like fenders, a premium gold-finished USD fork, and a monoshock suspension setup. The bike also features pedals for ride assistance. It will also get a swappable battery pack.
