Kia Seltos, Sonet, and Carens Gravity Edition Launched

Kia India has introduced a new Gravity Edition series for the Sonet, Seltos and Carens, with prices starting from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). These Gravity Edition models feature a host of additional features over the respective variants on which they are based.

Kia Sonet Gravity Edition

Based on the mid-spec HTK+ variant, the Kia Sonet Gravity Edition is priced between Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the powertrain option, it commands a premium of up to Rs 42,000 over the regular model. For this added premium, it gets the following additional features over the regular model: –

  • 16-inch alloy wheels
  • White brake callipers
  • Gravity badges
  • Leather-wrapped gear lever
  • Indigo Pera Seats with Navy Stitching
  • Rear spoiler
  • Wireless Phone Charger
  • Dash Cam (PIO)
  • Rear Adjustable Headrests
  • Rear centre armrest with cup holders

Apart from the above-mentioned add-ons, the Sonet Gravity Edition retains features like 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, push button start/stop, auto AC, six airbags, powered side mirrors, TPMS, rear defogger, and rear parking sensors with camera.

The Seltos Gravity Edition is based on the mid-spec HTX variant and comes with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115 PS/144 Nm, available with a 6-speed manual or CVT) and a 1.5-litre diesel (116 PS/250 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual). It’s offered in three colours: Glacial White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, and Dark Gun Metal (Matte).

In addition to the standard HTX features, it gets the following upgrades:-

  • Ventilated front seats
  • Bose audio system
  • Electronic parking brake (for CVT)
  • Zbara cover (for CVT)
  • 17-inch redesigned alloy wheels

The Kia Carens Gravity Edition is based on the lower-spec Premium (O) variant. It gets the following new features over the Premium (O) variant: –

  • Soft-touch door materials
