Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition – What does it get?
Exterior
The Seltos Anniversary Edition costs Rs 41,000 more than the corresponding HTX trim, and for this premium quotient, it gets many cosmetic upgrades. For instance, it sports an aggressively styled tusk shaped skid plate at the front with a silver-finished diffuser. The fog lamps housing has been given tangerine coloured bezels.
On the sides, it features 17" Raven Black alloy wheels with a tangerine centre cap, silver sill cladding with tangerine highlights and 'Seltos' logo.
At the rear, it features a Raven-black skid plate with silver diffuser fins and two fake exhaust-like bezels on the bumper in tangerine-coloured and Anniversary edition badging on the tailgate. Due to these additions, the length of the Seltos has increased by 60mm.
Interior & Features
Inside, the changes come in the form of an all-black theme. It also gets premium Raven-Black leather upholstery with a honeycomb pattern.
As far as the features are concerned, the Special Edition gets all the goodies offered with the HTX trim such as LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, UVO connected car tech, automatic AC, rear AC vents, keyless entry with engine start/stop button, auto-dimming IRVM, electric ORVM, air purifier with Perfume Diffuser, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, etc.
Additionally, it also features the remote engine start function through the key fob, for both manual and automatic variants. Earlier, this feature was available from the HTX+ variant onwards, and that too on the automatic trim only.
Colour Options
With the limited Anniversary Edition, Kia has offered two exclusive dual-tone exterior colour options – Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl and Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl. Apart from these two new paint schemes, it will also be available in Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl dual-tone shade and Aurora Black Pearl colour single-tone shade.

Author's Take
The Anniversary Edition commands a premium of Rs 41k over the regular HTX trim which might sound high as it mainly gets the cosmetic upgrades. However, It can be a more appealing option to some buyers who want a car that stands out from the crowd and for those who cannot afford the GT Line variants. Also, it gives a chance to experience the exclusivity of remote start/stop function with the manual gearbox option.
