Kia Ramped Up Its Production Capacity To Cater High Demand

In order to cater the increased demand in international and domestic markets, Kia India has announced to start the third shift at its state-of-the-art Anantapur manufacturing plant today. This will help Kia to achieve the full production capacity of 3 lakh cars annually.

Commenting on this occasion, Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director, and CEO, Kia India, said: –

We are extremely happy to share the commencement of the third shift at our Anantapur plant. We have hired additional manpower and aligned resources to minimize the waiting period on Kia cars and help us cater to the high demand in domestic and international markets. India is a strategic market for Kia globally and all our products have received an overwhelming response here. As a committed carmaker, it is our duty to ensure faster deliveries to our customers and the beginning of the third shift will ensure just that.

For those who aren’t aware, Kia India has recently recorded a 5 lakh dispatches milestone from the Anantapur plant, including 4 lakh domestic sales and 1 lakh exports. The Korean carmaker primarily exports the Seltos and Sonet to 91 countries across Central America, South America, Africa, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
