Kawasaki Versys 650 Available With Huge Discount This Month

Kawasaki India has announced a discount of Rs 70,000 on the purchase of the Versys 650 adventure tourer motorcycle. Currently, the green machine is priced at Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom), and with this huge discount, the asking rate comes down to Rs 6.45 lakh, putting it on par with the Kawasaki Z650 (Rs 6.43 lakh). However, it is worth noting that the offer price is valid only till the end of May 2022.

Talking about the Versys 650, it is the most affordable adventure offering from Kawasaki in India that is being powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor, rated at 68PS at 8,500rpm and 64Nm at 7,000rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Based on the diamond frame, the ADV rests on a 41mm long-travel adjustable fork (150mm travel) and a preload-adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear (145mm travel). Petal disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS) brings the bike to halt. The other notable traits & features of the bike include a twin LED headlamp cluster, adjustable windscreen, a massive 21-litre fuel tank, wide handlebars, split seats, and a semi-digital instrument cluster that comprises a tachometer, digital display for speed, trip meter, odometer, ABS status, gear indicator, etc.

Kawasaki Versys 650 offers

In the mid-segment ADV segment, the Kawasaki Versys 650 goes up against the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 (Rs 8.95 lakh), Suzuki V-Strom 650XT (Rs 8.82 lakh), CFMoto 650 MT (Rs 5.29 lakh), and the Benelli TRK 502 (Rs 5.32 – 5.94 lakh).
