JSW MG Motor India Records 5,500 Unit Sales in March 2025, Registers 9% YoY Growth

JSW MG Motor India has reported sales of 5,500 units in March 2025, marking a 9% year-over-year (YoY) growth compared to 5,050 units in March 2024. The brand also registered a strong 37% month-over-month (MoM) growth, up from 4,002 units sold in February 2025.

The MG Windsor, India’s highest-selling electric vehicle, achieved its best-ever monthly sales since its launch, reinforcing its dominance in the EV space. Alongside the Windsor, MG’s electric portfolio—including the Comet EV and ZS EV—continued to drive overall sales, with EVs contributing over 85% of the brand’s total volume.

EVs Lead MG’s Growth Story

MG Motor’s focus on electric mobility has played a key role in its market expansion. With the increasing adoption of EVs in India, the company’s strategy aligns with shifting consumer preferences toward sustainable transportation.

Looking Ahead

JSW MG Motor India is expected to strengthen its EV lineup further with the launch of the Cyberster electric sports car and the M9 electric luxury MPV. Bookings for both models are already underway, and they are expected to hit the markets in the coming weeks. Besides, MG also has plans to expand its dealership network, capitalizing on the growing demand for green mobility.
