Hyundai has expanded its all-electric lineup with the introduction of the all-new IONIQ 3 at the Milan Design Week 2026. Sharing its platform with the Kia EV2, this Korean electric coupe is primarily aimed at the European market and will be manufactured at Hyundai’s Izmit facility in Turkiye.
Drivetrain, Range, and Charging
The Ioniq 3 is powered by a front-axle-mounted motor, offered in two states of tune – 135hp in the base variant and 147hp in the N Line variant. Meanwhile, the torque figures remain the same at 250 Nm for both versions. Nevertheless, the SUV has a claimed top speed of 170 kmph and can complete the 0 to 100 kmph run in just 9 seconds.
Hyundai will offer the Ioniq 3 with two battery pack options in Europe: 42.2kWh and 61kWh, representing standard range and long-range variants, claiming a WLTP-claimed range of up to 344km and 496km, respectively.
Speaking of the charging, it will be offered with an 11kW AC charger as standard and a 22kW charger as an option. With a DC fast charger, it can be juiced up from 10% to 80% in around 29 minutes.

- Gloss black finished rear diffuser
Speaking of the dimensions, the Ioniq 3 is 4,170mm long, 1,800mm wide, 1,505mm tall, and features a 2,680mm wheelbase. Its boot space is rated at 441 litres.
