We are here to help you find the most value-for-money variant of the Hyundai Creta Electric. But first, let’s explore what each of its variants has to offer
Hyundai Creta Electric Executive | Rs 17.99 lakh (with 42 kWh battery) |
Key Features: –
Verdict: The entry-level Executive variant is very well-equipped for its price and ideal for those looking for a budget-friendly EV with essential features.
Hyundai Creta Electric Smart | Rs 18.99 lakh (with 42 kWh battery) |
Premium over Executive variant | +Rs 1 lakh |
Key Features (over Executive variant): –
Verdict: The Rs 1 lakh premium over the Executive variant dosen’t add much value to the Smart variant.
Hyundai Creta Electric Smart (O) | Rs 19.50 lakh (with 42 kWh battery) Rs 21.50 lakh (with 51.4 kWh battery) |
Premium over Smart variant | +Rs 50,000 |
Key Features (over Smart variant): –
Verdict: At Rs 50,000 more than the Smart variant, this variant offers a panoramic sunroof and a more premium look, adding a touch of style and luxury. Moreover, it is the only variant in the lineup which gets the option of both battery packs. This variant may appeal to those with range anxiety.
Hyundai Creta Electric Premium | Rs 20 lakh (with 42 kWh battery) |
Premium over Smart (O) 42kWh variant | +Rs 50,000 |
Key Features (over Smart Optional variant): –

Hyundai Creta Electric Excellence | Rs 23.50 lakh (with 51.4 kWh battery) |
Premium over Premium 42kWh variant | +Rs 50,000 |
Premium over Smart (O) 51.4kWh variant | +Rs 2 lakh |
Key Features (over Smart (O) variant): –
Verdict: The Rs 50,000 jump from the Premium variant truly justifies the added cost for those seeking top-tier luxury.
In our opinion, the Hyundai Creta Electric Premium variant is the most well-rounded option in the lineup, offering the best balance between price and features, especially if you prioritise advanced safety features. However, it would have been better if Hyundai had offered it with the larger battery pack option too. For budget-conscious buyers, the base-spec Executive variant is a close second.
