Hyundai Alcazar Platinum (O) Now Available With 7-Seater Option

Hyundai has launched Alcazar's mid-spec Platinum (O) diesel trim in a 7-seater layout option at Rs 19.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Soon its petrol version will also get the added seat option. 

Earlier, the Alcazar Platinum (O) diesel variant was only available in a 6-seater configuration, which is priced at Rs 19.78 lakh. With the recent update, it has become Alcazar's second diesel-automatic variant to come in a 7-seater configuration. Also, it is the only automatic variant to offer the option of both seating layouts across the entire variant line-up of the SUV. Getting confused? Despite being a mid-spec variant, the Platinum (O) comes with a long list of premium features. These include an all-LED lighting system, automatic headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, smart key with push-button start, remote engine start with smart key, auto climate control with rear AC vents, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, BlueLink connected car tech with OTA maps updates, 10.25-inch multi-display digital cluster, 8-speakers Bose premium sound system, steering mounted controls, 64-colour ambient lighting, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, paddle shifters, multiple driving & traction modes, auto air-purifier with AQI display, leather seats, cruise control, 6-airbags, blind-view monitoring system, 360-degree camera, and much more. In fact, it only misses out on ventilated front seats and front parking sensors when compared to the top-spec Signature (O) variant. Click here for more details. 

As evident from the above table, Hyundai offers the Alcazar with two engine options: 2.0-litre petrol (159PS/191Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm). Both get the option of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. 

In the mid-sized three-row SUV segment, the Hyundai Alcazar locks horns with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
