Honda SP125 Sports Edition Launched At Rs 90,567

The sporty commuter from Honda, the SP125, has become even more sportier with the all-new Sports Edition. Priced at Rs 90,567 (ex-showroom), it is Rs 550 more expensive than the regular model’s disc variant.

Bookings for this limited edition variant of the SP125 are now open at Honda’s RedWing dealerships.

  • Compared to the standard model, the new SP125 Sports Edition receives a few cosmetic enhancements in the form of new graphics, a matte finish for the exhaust and orange rim stickers.
  • The Japanese bikemaker has offered this new variant in two new colours: Heavy Grey Metallic and Decent Blue Metallic.
  • Honda is also offering the Sports Edition with 10 years of warranty coverage, comprising a 3-year standard and an optional 7-year extension.

Besides, these above mentioned changes, rest of the bike remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering 10.8PS of max power and 10.9Nm of peak twist, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Regarding features, the SP125 gets side stand engine cutt-off function, LED headlamps, a silent starter motor, engine kill switch, and a digital instrument cluster that shows information such as distance to empty, fuel efficiency (mileage), average mileage, service due indicators, gear position indication, and a side-stand indicator.

In the 125cc commuter segment, the Honda SP125 takes on the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS125, Hero Glamour and TVS Raider 125.
