Waiting for the new Honda Elevate SUV? Well, the Japanese marque has finally announced that its launch will take place on September 4, 2023. Bookings for this Creta-rivaling SUV are already underway, and it has also started reaching dealerships across the country.

Honda will offer the Elevate with its tried-&-tested 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which is known for its driveability, refinement and well-controlled NVH levels. Honda will offer it with both manual and automatic transmission options.

- Underpinned on Honda’s Global Small Car platform, the Elevate is 4,312mm long. Yes, not the longest, but at 1650mm, it is the most elevated SUV in its class.
- It also boasts the segment’s leading ground clearance of 220mm and a wheelbase of 2650mm.
- At 458 litres, it also provides the most generous boot space in its class.

- Honda will offer the Elevate in four variants: SV, V, VX and ZX.
- Inside the cabin, the Elevate features a black-and-brown two-tone theme with smooth-touch leather on the dash & door pads, along with a faux wooden insert giving it a premium appeal.
- When it comes to features, the Elevate isn’t a tech-loaded machine like the Kia Seltos. Rather, it prioritises meeting customers’ essential convenience requirements, with a strong emphasis on the safety department. Some notable features to cite are: –

Expected Price and Competitors
- We expect Honda to price the Elevate between Rs 11 – 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will lock horns with the Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and the recently facelifted Kia Seltos.
