The Honda Amaze is not the most loaded car of the segment, but it offers nearly all the comfort features that one needs in its day-to-day routine. Its other key features include inbuilt navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, height-adjustable driver's seat, rear armrest with cup holders, bottle holders on all doors, electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs, day/night IRVM, all-four power windows with driver-side one-touch function, steering mounted control, voice recognition, dead pedal, passive keyless entry with push-button engine start-stop, sharkfin antenna, rear defoggers, alloy wheels, etc. However, if Honda had also given features like automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, front armrest, dedicated rear AC vents, and adjustable headrest in the rear row, then it would have seemed like a perfect product.

Honda Amaze comes with two engine options: 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. Both motors can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. At 90PS and 110Nm of output, the Amaze petrol is more powerful & torquiest than the segment leader Maruti Dzire (83PS/113Nm), Tata Tigor (85PS/114Nm), and Hyundai Aura's 1.2L naturally aspirated engine (83PS/114Nm). On the other hand, its diesel engine is the same unit that Honda also offers with City sedan. It produces the segment's best power out of 100PS and 200Nm of peak torque. However, the diesel CVT delivers slightly less power and torque (80PS/160Nm).

7. Extra Ordinary Fuel Efficiency
The Amaze's 1.2-litre petrol engine offers an ARAI fuel efficiency of 18.6kmpl. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter diesel engine returns 25kmpl (ARAI claimed). But if you'll be gentle on the throttle, it will surely return even more mileage than the claimed values. In our real-world fuel efficiency test, it surpassed the claimed figure by over 4kmpl when driven on the highway.
