Hero Vida VX2 Go Now Available With Larger Battery Pack; Range Increased

Hero MotoCorp has launched the entry-level GO variant of the Vida VX2 electric scooter with a larger 3.4 kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier, the VX2 GO was limited to just a 2.2 kWh unit, while the 3.4 kWh unit was exclusive to the VX2 Plus variant.

Like other variants, this will also be available with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, with prices starting at Rs 60,000, with a pay-per-km charge of Rs 0.90.

With the larger 3.4 kWh dual removable battery setup, the Vida VX2 GO claims a real-world range of over 100 km. That’s a notable upgrade from the 64km real-world range of the 2.2 kWh version.

Powering the Vida VX2 GO is still the same 6kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), producing 26Nm of peak torque and an identical top speed of 70 kmph.

Features Onboard

Other than the addition of the larger battery pack, the VX2 GO variant remains unchanged. It continues to get amenities all-LED lighting systems, a mechanical key, two riding modes – Eco and Ride, and a 4.3-inch LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, real-time range and ride data, USB charging port, remote immobilisation, GPS-based live location tracking, and much more. Features like the TFT cluster and Sport mode are still exclusive to the top-spec VX2 PLUS variant.

Rivals

The Vida VX2 is pitted against the likes of TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak 3001, and Honda QC1.
