  • 2022 MG ZS EV to get 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS.
  • It’s interior design will be similar to the Astor.

  • Launch expected in February 2022.

Facelifted MG ZS EV is expected to be the carmaker’s first launch for 2022. It has been spied testing numerous times. And now another set of spy images have surfaced on the web, this time revealing its interior and features details.

2022 MG ZS EV Facelift – What do the spy shots reveal?

Going by the latest spy images, the 2022 MG ZS EV will get MG Astor-like dashboard with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard seems to be finished in carbon-fiber-like premium soft-touch material. Keen eyes could also notice red stitching on the steering wheel and central console tunnel.

Similar to the Astor, it is likely to come in multiple interior color options, along with new features like a digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, etc.

The new spy images also reveal cameras mounted below the ORVMs, front grille, and on the front windshield, implying that the new ZS EV will be equipped with the 360-degree camera and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

Since the Astor gets a LEVEL-2 ADAS that comes with active safety features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep/departure assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot detection, the new ZS EV is also expected to offer the same features.

New Battery Pack and Range

The electrified SUV is likely to feature a new 51kWh battery pack instead of the ongoing 44kWh unit that will certainly offer a better drive range than the current model’s claimed 419km figure.
