The facelifted Audi Q7 SUV has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 79.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in two variants, the luxury SUV gets an updated design and features that give it a refreshed appeal. Here’s a look at detailed pricing: –

2022 Audi Q7 Facelift – What’s New?

Exterior

Being a facelift version, 2022 Audi Q7’s front fascia receives the most noticeable changes, starting from the new flat & wider looking single-frame grille with an octagonal outline and a revived sill trim. There are also the refreshed adaptive Matrix LED headlamps with signature daytime running lights, redesigned bumper, and aggressively styled air dams with an assertive 3D effect.

The rear gets refreshed LED tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators. It further sits on chunky new 19-inch 5-arm star-style design alloy wheels.

Audi has offered the facelifted SUV in five exterior colours: Carrara White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Samurai Grey, and Floret Silver.

Interior and Features

Available in two interior colors – Saiga Beige and Okapi Brown, its cockpit design blends flawlessly with the pristine digital operating concept, which incorporates two large touchscreens on the dash for the infotainment system (10.1-inch unit) and climate control system (8.6-inch unit).

Features include an updated Audi Virtual Cockpit, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 730W 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system, four-zone climate control, 30-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive windshield wipers with integrated washer nozzles, an air quality sensor with air fragrance, leather upholstery, electric boot lid with the gesture-based operation, powered front seats with driver-side memory function, adjustable fore & aft position and recline function for the 2nd-row seats, electrically foldable 3rd row seats, cruise control with speed limiter, and more. Safety is covered by 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, Park Assist Plus with a 360-degree camera, hill assist, lane departure warning with steering assist, etc.

Audi Q7 review

Powertrain

The 2022 Q7 is powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine (340PS/500Nm) with a 48 V Mild Hybrid system, replacing the older 251PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 265PS 3.0-litre V6 diesel motors. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD).

Audi claims that the new Q7 can complete the century sprint in just 5.9 seconds.

Competitors

In the Indian market, the Audi Q7 locks horns with the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and the Volvo XC90.
