Select Toyota dealerships across the country have started accepting orders for the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross ahead of its official unveiling on November 25 in India. The token amount for advance booking varies depending on the dealer.

As we already know, the new Toyota Innova Hycross will be based on a monocoque platform instead of the Innova Crysta’s body-on-frame chassis. It will have a bold SUV-like stance with modern styling bits. The new MPV is likely to benefit from ”Toyota Safety Sense” (a first for any Toyota model in India), which is essentially Toyota’s acronym for the ADAS suite. While details are scarce at the moment, it should comprise active safety features like Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Auto High Beam Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Proactive Driving Assist.

Other features of the MPV should include a panoramic sunroof, automatic AC, dedicated AC vents for 2nd & 3rd rows, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, a heads-up display, connected car tech and a larger floating infotainment screen with a premium sound system.

Toyota Innova Hycross Indian launch date

Underneath the bonnet, the new Toyota Innova Hycross is expected to get a 2.0-litre petrol engine as standard, optionally paired with a self-charging strong-hybrid system. Unlike the Innova Crysta, it will be a front-wheel drive model and the diesel engine option won’t be on offer.

Toyota Innova Hycross bookings

We anticipate Toyota to price the upcoming Innova Hycross from around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
