Receives a powerful engine

The BMW X5 M Competition is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 625PS at 6000rpm and an extensive torque output of 750Nm between 1,800-5,600rpm. This massive grunt is delivered to all four wheels via an 8-speed M-Steptronic automatic transmission that also features a three-stage Drivelogic shifting system.

The X5 M Competition offers three driving modes, namely Road, Sport, and Track. It can do the 0-100kmph sprint in simply 3.8 seconds and its top speed is limited to 250kmph through electronic means.

Embellished exterior design

Compared to the standard model, the X5 M Competition gets some cosmetic updates to justify its performance-oriented character. Upfront, it features a blacked-out kidney grille and a sportier front bumper with large air intakes. The SUV also gets 21-inch in front & 22-inch rear M-specific alloy wheels with M-specific brake calipers and X5 M Competition badge at the rear.

Inside, the M Competition trim gets a sports seat & M-specific leather-wrapped steering wheel along with M buttons & red accents, giving the cabin a sporty feel.
