Bharat Mobility Global Expo Now To Be Held Every Two Years, Next Edition in Feb 2027

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will now take place every two years. Earlier, it was planned to be organised every year. This means the next auto expo will be held in February 2027, probably from February 4 to February 9, 2027. The shift to a biennial format will also give manufacturers more time to develop and showcase their upcoming products, concepts, and technologies in a more refined and production-ready state, potentially making future editions more impactful and globally competitive.

The event is expected to follow a similar format as the 2025 edition, with activities likely spread across three venues in Delhi-NCR: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, and Yashobhoomi in Dwarka.

In recent years, public interest in large expos has started to decline. Many organisers are cutting down on the scale of these events or even shifting completely to online formats. The main reason behind this change is the rise of affordable internet and widespread use of smartphones and social media, which allow people to explore new products and experiences from the comfort of their homes or wherever they are.

At the same time, putting together an expo is an expensive process, and automakers often struggle to justify the cost when the return in terms of direct sales or leads is uncertain.

With the Bharat Mobility Global Expo moving to a biennial format, the 2027 edition is expected to be more focused and better planned, with hopes of attracting stronger participation from manufacturers and a renewed interest from the public. There are also expectations that the organisers may blend physical and digital experiences to reach a wider audience while keeping costs under control.
