Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Leaked Ahead of Its Launch

Images of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 have surfaced on the web, providing an in-depth preview of the upcoming bike ahead of its official arrival on May 3, 2024.

The leaked images showcase the assertive demeanour of the upcoming Pulsar NS400, with its sporty projector headlamp and integrated lightning bolt-shaped LED DRLs. Further enhancing its allure are the seamlessly integrated tank extensions, split-stepped seat, and sleeker tail section with a discreet split grab rail at the rear.

Bajaj has equipped the bike with an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. This configuration is designed to enhance manoeuvrability and responsiveness, especially during high-speed cornering and quick directional changes, while also providing a smoother and more comfortable ride experience.

For anchoring, the bike gets disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS). Other than this, the Pulsar NS400 is also expected to feature a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity support, adjustable clutch & brake levers, traction control and multiple riding modes (probably based on ABS).

Speaking of the powertrain, the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will likely use the same 373.3cc single-cylinder engine that also powers the Dominar 400 and KTM RC 390. It should be paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch. The latter will ensure smoother gear shifts, prevent rear-wheel lockup, and minimize the risk of engine stalling.

Upon launch, the biggest Pulsar will compete with the Hero Mavrick 440, KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. We expect it to be priced at around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
