Bajaj Pulsar N250 Launched With New Features

Bajaj Auto has finally launched the much-anticipated Pulsar N250 at a price tag of just Rs 1,50,829 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it merely Rs 851 more expensive than its previous iteration. For this very small price jump, the new Pulsar receives plenty of new features and a revised colour palette.

Bajaj is also gearing up to introduce the upgraded Pulsar F250 and a new NS400 in the coming weeks.

  • Fatter 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres
  • LCD digital cluster with call/notifications alert and turn-by-turn navigation assist

All these changes also contributed to a 2kg increase in the bikeโ€™s weight, which now stands at 164kg. Its wheelbase has also been decreased by 9mm to 1342mm; however, at 800mm, the seat height is slightly up by 5mm.

What Powers The Bajaj Pulsar N250?

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is powered by a 249.07cc, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS of maximum power and 21.05Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

Other Specifications and Features

Besides the above-mentioned changes, the Pulsar N250 remains unchanged. It continues to have 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes, assisted by dual-channel ABS. Its ground clearance is 165kg, and its fuel tank capacity is 14 litres.

In the 250cc naked sports segment, the Pulsar N250 can be seen as an affordable alternative to the Suzuki Gixxer 250 (Rs 1,81,400) and KTM 250 Duke (Rs 2,39,000).
