Bajaj Pulsar N125 Features Explained

Bajaj Auto has recently introduced the Pulsar N125 in India as the brand’s most affordable N series bike. Priced from Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom), the bike is available in two variants: LED Disc and LED Disc BT. Here explore what each variant has on offer: –

  • The base-spec Pulsar N125 LED disc variant comes equipped with LED headlamps with Z-shaped LED DRLs, LED taillamps, a split-seat design, self-start, a USB charging port and an underbelly exhaust.
  • The bike also features a digital cluster with a smaller LCD display which shows basic information like an odometer, speedometer, trip meter, fuel levels, etc. However, it misses out on smartphone connectivity.
  • While it comes fitted with alloy wheels, it features narrow 100-section rear tyres.
  • For braking, the bike gets a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear, assisted by a combined braking system (CBS).
  • The brand offers it in four colour options: Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, Pearl Metallic white, and Caribbean Blue.

  • The top-spec Bajaj Pulsar N125 LED Disc BT variant is Rs 4,000 more expensive than the base-spec trim. For this added premium, it gets a few additional features like a silent starter to crank the engine without any noise, an idle start/stop function for optimal fuel efficiency, a wider 110-section rear tyre for better traction and a bigger fully digital LCD instrument cluster which gets Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity support for call/SMS alerts.
  • It is being offered in three shades: Ebony Black/Cocktail Wine Red, Pewter Grey/Citrus Rush and Ebony Black/Purple Fury. 

Rest all is identical to the base model.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Engine

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is a 124.58cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,000rpm. It comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. I

It competes with other premium 125cc bikes like the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and the Honda SP125.
