Bajaj Auto, leading Indian two-wheelers has launched the BS-6 compliant version of Pulsar 125.
This entry-level bs-6 pulsar is priced at Rs. 69,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pulsar is being offered in a couple of variants- 'Disc' and the 'Drum' (Names being indicative of the bike offering disc braking in upper variant and drum variant in the cheaper variant)
On the braking front, the rear comes necessarily with a drum; while the front comes with an option of a disc or a drum.
The Pulsar 125 will be offered in three color options- Neon Blue, Solar Red and Platinum Silver.

With other Bajaj motorbikes like Dominar 400, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar 220F, RS200 and the 150 Classic already being updated, the Pulsar 125 was bound to receive this update.

Mechanical changes
Bajaj Pulsar 125 continues to be powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine unit. At 11Nm, its peak torque figure has remained the same, but its power output has witnessed a negligible decline (0.2 bHP) over its predecessor, the BS-4 version. The power output now stands at 11.8 HP. The transmission also remains the same. A 5-speed gearbox will continue to transmit the power.
The only mechanical change is a welcome move, as the engine unit now gets a fuel injection (FI) system, replacing the conventional carburettor setup.

The Pulsar 125 gets aggressive design touches like a bold front, a sturdy fuel tank, and a sharply designed tail, which makes it look pretty similar to its 150cc sibling.
The other feature highlights include a semi-digital instrumentation cluster, LED Tail lamp, and pilot lamps on the front.
