Audi is all set to launch the e-tron in the Indian market on 22nd July 2021. Interested customers can also pre-book the all-electric SUV for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. While there are still some days left in its launch, the brand has already revealed its specifications and variant details.
The Audi e-tron will be available in two body styles: SUV and Sportback (SUV Coupe), and three variants: 50, 55, and 55 Sportback. All three variants will come with dual electric motors that will drive all four wheels. Here's take a look at the e-tron’s specifications:

As the above table reveals, the Audi e-tron will be offered in two different powertrain options, delivering a maximum range of up to 484kms (WLTP claimed). It can be charged from 0-80 percent in 8.5 hours using an 11kW AC home charger. However, it also supports DC fast charging of up to 150kW that can juice it up in merely 30 minutes.
As for features, the upcoming all-electric German SUV will be loaded up to the brim. Some of its key features include Matrix LED headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels, 10.1-inch Audi MMI touchscreen infotainment, an 8.8-inch touch display for four-zone automatic climate control, ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable steering & front seats, electric tailgate, air suspension, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, up to eight airbags, and many more.
The e-tron will come with a standard warranty of 2 years and a High Voltage Battery warranty of 8-yrs / 1.60 lakh kilometers. It will also be offered with two extended warranty plans – 2+2 years and 2+3 years. Besides, Audi will also provide service plans with the electric SUV ranging from 2 years to 5 years.
Audi will import the e-tron as a Complete Built-Up (CBU) unit, so expect it to be priced between Rs 1 crore and Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will lock horns with the Mercedes-Benz EQC (Rs 1.04 Cr) and Jaguar I-Pace (Rs 1.05 – 1.12 Cr).
