Audi e-tron – Powertrain

Both the Audi e-tron models (50 & 55) source their power from twin electric motors (one on each axle), paired to 71.2kWh and 95kWh battery packs, respectively. In the base e-tron 50 model, it makes 312PS of maximum power and 540Nm of peak torque with a claimed WLTP (World Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) range between 264-379km on a full charge. On the performance front, the e-tron 50 trim encounters the 100kmph mark front standstill in 6.8 seconds and can attain a top speed of 190kmph.

On the other hand, the power output for e-tron 55 and 55 Sportback stands at 360PS and 561Nm. Under the Boost mode, the figures shoot up to 408PS/664Nm. With this configuration, the 55 variants can reach the century sprint in just 5.7 seconds and it tops out at 200kmph. Audi claims a WLTP-tested range of 359-484 kilometers with these variants.

The Audi e-tron supports DC (Direct Current) fast charging (up to 150kW) that can refill the battery up to 80% in merely 30 minutes. However, the 11kW AC (Alternating Current) charger that comes standard with the EVs, takes around 8.5 hours to energize the battery from 0-80 percent.

Audi e-tron – Design & Features

Design-wise, the Audi e-tron comes with a single-frame grille, flanked by sleeker LED headlights. The front bumper is quite aerodynamic and features large air inlets.
