Ather 450X and 450 Plus Receive New SmartECO Riding Mode For Optimized Range and Performance

Ather 450X and 450 Plus electric scooters receive a new riding mode called ”SmartECO” via over-the-air (OTA) update. It is developed to provide an adequate balance between riding range and performance. With this, the Ather 450X has now five riding modes on offer: Eco, SmartECO, Ride, Sports, and Warp.

Ather SmartECO mode – What it is?

Unlike the earlier ECO mode which predominantly focuses on the maximum riding range, the Ather SmartECO mode strives to provide a synergy between power and range. It senses various parameters such as road condition, riding behavior, and total load, and adjusts the acceleration accordingly. It also gets a POWER BAR, which turns blue when there’s adequate power for the rider to pull, and red when there isn’t, indicating the rider to decrease the acceleration.
