All-New Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Launched At Rs 93,690

India's leading two & three-wheelers manufacturer, Bajaj Auto has launched an all-new Pulsar NS125 in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 93,690 (ex-showroom), it is positioned below the Pulsar 150 in the company’s Pulsar range. With its launch, the Pulsar NS range now consists of three models. Compared to the Pulsar 125's Split Seat Disc variant, it's Rs 10,701 more expensive.

Commenting on the launch Mr Sarang Kanade, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto said-

We are excited to bring the pedigree of the higher cc Pulsar NS series bikes, for first-time performance riding enthusiasts. The thrill that the new Pulsar NS 125 is built to offer, will appeal to a large segment of customers with its multiple class leading features. The Pulsar 125has been very well received by consumers and we are confident that the new NS 125will further strengthen the brand’s position in the Entry Sport Bike segment”.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 – Engine & Gearbox

The Pulsar NS125 is powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled 2-valve DTS-i engine that churns out 11.99PS at 8500rpm and 11Nm at 7000rpm. The motor comes with a 5-speed transmission. Compared to the standard Pulsar 125, it makes 0.19PS and 0.2Nm of more output. 

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 – Design, Underpinnings & Other specifications 

Design-wise, the Pulsar NS125 looks similar to its elder sibling. It sports the same bodywork and triangular halogen headlamp as NS160. It features twin pilot lamps, an LED tail lamp, bulb indicators, split seats, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. 

As for underpinnings, the NS125 uses a perimeter frame attached to a telescopic front fork and a Nitrox rear monoshock. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/90 rear section MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres. Braking duties, meanwhile, is taken care of by a 240mm disc up front and 130mm drum at the rear with the combi-braking system (CBS) as standard.

Dimensionally, the Pulsar NS 125 is 2,012mm long, 810mm wide and 1,078mm tall. At 144kg, the bike weighs 7kgs less than the NS160, whereas its ground clearance (179mm) is also 2mm larger than its elder sibling. However, its fuel tank capacity (12-litres) is identical to the other NS range of motorcycles. Last but not the least, the Pulsar NS125 has a seat height of 805mm.
