Citroen India has updated its entry-level electric SUV, the eC3, giving it a refreshed identity with the new ‘X’ moniker. While the core formula remains unchanged, the latest update brings subtle enhancemets aimed at improving the overall ownership experience. - Prices for the base-spec Live variant has been reduced by a massive Rs 1.74 lakh compared to the older version.
- Citreon has introduced a new Live (O) variant, replacing the previous mid-spec Feel trim.
- The French automaker is yet to reveal the prices for the Live (O) and Shine variants.
Citroen eC3 X: Battery-as-a-Service
The eC3 X can also be had under the battery-as-a-service plan, under which the prices of the EV starts at Rs 6.89 lakh + battery retal of Rs 2.26 per km.

Citroen eC3 X: Exterior Design Changes
- The eC3 X gets slightly refreshed front facia, featuring new projector LED headlights from the ICE-powered model. However, the halogen fog lamps continue to be on offer.
- Things remain largely unchanged from the sides and rear, except for the introduction of new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. That said, the EV continues with V-shaped LED DRLs, LED tail lights, faux silver skid plates on the bumpers, black cladding on the wheel arches and lower section of the body.

Citroen eC3 X: Interior Changes and New Features
- While the dashboard layout remains unchanged, the 2026 eC3 X features a new dual-tone blue-&-beige cabin theme.
- It now also receives new dual-tone leatherette upholstery, finished in white & blue for premium appeal.
- In terms of features, the Citroen has also equipped the 2026 eC3X with a new 7-inch coloured digital driver’s display, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), a wireless phone charger and an optional JBL sound system.
- Safety quotient has also been improved with up to six airbags in the top-end variant, while the lower variants get four airbags.
- The EV can also be fitted with optional front and rear dashcam package that offers front vehicle distance alert, lane departure warning, and pedestrian warning.

Aside from the above-mentioned amenities, The eC3 X also carries over a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual AC, a rear wiper & washer, height-adjustable driver seat, electric auto-folding side mirrors, keyless entry, steering mounted controls, a rear parking camera with sensors, ABS with EBD, speed sensitive door locks, and much more.
