- Starting with Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), the Sierra scored an impressive 31.14 out of 32 points.
- The SUV demonstrated good to adequate protection across critical body regions, including the chest, knees, and tibias, while the feet received a ‘good’ rating.
- In individual tests, it scored 15.14 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test and a perfect 16 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test.
- It also successfully cleared the side pole impact test, indicating strong structural integrity.
- In terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP), the Sierra achieved 44.73 out of 49 points, earning another 5-star rating. It scored 23.73 out of 24 in dynamic tests and a full 12 out of 12 in child restraint system (CRS) installation, ensuring secure and stable child seat fitment.
- The SUV also performed well in vehicle assessment, scoring 9 out of 13, while effectively protecting both 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies.
