New Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo Launched

Mahindra has launched the 2025 iteration of the Bolero and Bolero Neo, both receiving a round of subtle yet noticeable updates. While the core identity of these rugged SUVs remains unchanged, Mahindra has given them a mild makeover to keep things fresh. The update includes minor cosmetic enhancements and a few additional features that enhance their overall appeal.

As revealed above, the Mahindra Bolero will be sold in four variants, including a new top-of-the-line B8 variant that receives a ton of new features over the outgoing model. These include diamond-cut alloy wheels, fog lamps, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, steering-mounted controls, leatherette upholstery, RideFlo tech, a bottle holder on door trims, and Type-C USB charging ports. Mahindra also claims to have enhanced the seats’ comfort for improved long-distance usability.

In terms of styling, the upgraded SUV gets a refreshed front facia, featuring a new 5-slat grille with chrome inserts. From the sides, the 2025 Mahindra Bolero retains its signature boxy, upright stance with tall windows and squared-off proportions, a design trait that has long defined its rugged personality. However, it now gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloys.

Mahindra has also introduced three new colour options for the Bolero — Stealth Black, Rocky Beige and DSAT Silver.

The 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo sports a refreshed front fascia, featuring a redesigned grille with horizontal slats that replace the earlier vertical design. The front bumper now gets a silver finish, further enhancing the SUV’s visual contrast.

From the side, the Bolero Neo continues to exhibit its compact and muscular stance, highlighted by pronounced black wheel arches and new 16-inch dark grey alloy wheels. The introduction of a dual-tone roof option adds a youthful, modern flair to its otherwise rugged design. Mahindra has also added two new paint shades to keep things fresh – Concrete Grey and Jeans Blue.

At the rear, the styling remains largely unchanged, with the familiar side-hinged tailgate and spare wheel cover bearing the Bolero Neo insignia.

Inside, Mahindra has updated the cabin with two new interior themes – Mocha Brown and Lunar Grey –, depending on the variant. The leatherette upholstery gives the interior a more premium feel, while the addition of a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, USB Type-C ports, and a rear parking camera improves convenience.

Other equipment highlights include an analogue instrument cluster with a colour MID, all four power windows, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, and a 6-speaker audio system. On the safety front, the Bolero Neo continues to offer dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and rear parking sensors with a camera.

Mechanically Unchanged

Both these Mahindra SUVs remain mechanically unchanged. They continue with their diesel engines and rear-wheel drive setup.
