If you’re planning to bring home the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS, we have good news for you. The Czech Republic automaker has officially started accepting bookings for this performance-oriented sedan ahead of its launch on October 17. Its deliveries will begin on November 6, 2025. Only 100 units of the Skoda Octavia RS will be offered in India, that too via the CBU route, which means a higher cost.
Skoda Octavia RS: What Makes It Special?
Sporty Styling
The RS version is visually distinct from the regular mode. It features aggressive bumpers, blacked-out/gloss black elements (grille, badges, ORVMS, exhaust tips), dual-pod matrix LED headlamps with RS-specific detailing, a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes, and large aerodynamically optimised 18-inch sporty alloy wheels and a more muscular stance. Sports seats with contrast stitching, flat-bottom steering wheel with SKODA lettering, RS badging and interior touches (red/black themes, suede or mixed upholstery) complete the sporty ambience.

Sporty Chassis and Handling
Compared to the standard model, the Octavia RS has sport suspension with stiffer dampers, a lowered ride height by about 15 mm to improve the overall stability and driver engagement by offering sharper driving dynamics. It also gets a limited-slip differential for better grip while cornering.
Power & Performance
A 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine powers the Octavia RS, belting out 265PS of max power and 370Nm of peak torque. All of that enables the sedan to complete the century sprint in just 6.4 seconds before maxing out at 250 kmph. So it’s not just about looks; it delivers serious, real performance.

Features & Safety
The Octavia RS will be equipped with amenities like a 13-inch free-standing touchscreen, a 10-inch digital driver’s display, heated and powered front seats, dual-zone auto AC, a wireless phone charger, a premium sound system, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera.
Passenger safety will be ensured by ten airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold & descent assist, traction control, and probably a full suite of level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.
Competition Check
The Octavia RS will be positioned as a sporty alternative to the Mercedes A-Class, BMW 2 Series and Audi A4.
