BSA has announced a free accessory kit called โ€œThe Goldies Packโ€ with every purchase of the Gold Star 650 motorcycle, regardless of colour variant. Valued at Rs 6396, this kit comprises a range of practical add-ons to enhance the riding experience.

The Goldies Pack includes four accessories, namely: โ€“

  • Exhaust Heat Shield (Rs 399): Positioned near the riderโ€™s footpegs, this component enhances safety by reducing the chance of accidental contact with hot exhaust.
  • Rear Luggage Rack (Rs 1999): Ideal for touring and utility-focused riders, this trail rack provides additional storage capacity for carrying bags or gear.
  • Cushioned Back Rest (Rs 2499): A comfort-focused add-on for pillion, ensuring a more relaxed and enjoyable ride on longer journeys.
  • Flyscreen (Rs 1499): A small windscreen that offers light wind protection at higher speeds.

More About BSA Gold Star 650

Based on a double-cradle frame, the Gold Star 650 is a retro classic motorcycle which is currently priced at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). It has one of the most powerful single-cylinder engines that makes 45PS and 55Nm. Its underpinnings comprise a 41mm telescopic fork, preload-adjustable rear twin gas-charged shock absorbers, and spoke wheels (18-inch front and 17-inch rear) with 100-section front and 150-section rear Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres tires. For anchoring duties, it gets 320mm front and 255mm rear disc brakes, aided by a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).

The other notable features of the bike include a round headlamp for a classic appeal, a retro single-piece seat, a long tear-shaped fuel tank with chrome finishing, chrome finished engine crankcase, pea-shooter chrome finished exhaust, a twin-pod instrument cluster with digital insets, an anti-theft engine immobiliser, a USB charging port, and a wide handlebar with mid-set footpegs for an upright riding position.

In the 650cc roadster segment, the BSA Gold Star 650 locks horns with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
