MG Windsor Pro To Get Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle Feature

JSW MG Motor India has recently announced the arrival of the MG Windsor PRO, which will get a suite of PRO tech features, enhancing the overall experience. The carmaker has now announced that it will also get Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) functions.

The V2L features allow users to power external devices directly from the car, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals alike. While the V2V technology enables energy sharing capabilities between compatible EVs. Aside from that, the EV is also expected to get amenities like an ADAS suite, new alloy wheels and a powered tailgate.

MG Windsor EV PRO | Business Class Goes PRO

Powering the Windsor Pro is expected to be a 50.6 kWh battery, paired with the existing front-axle mounted single motor that produces 136 PS of max power and 200 Nm of peak torque. It claims a range of nearly 460 km on a single charge. This same configuration is already available for sale in Indonesia.

As of now, the Windsor EV comes with a 38 kWh battery pack that claims an ARAI-rated range of 332 km on a single charge. However, under real driving conditions with AC usage, it returns a true range of around 250 kilometres.

Currently, the Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive and Essence, priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the Pro version to be priced at around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the added value in range and features could attract an even broader audience.
