2025 Maruti Grand Vitara Launched With Improved Safety and New Features

After the Toyota Hyryder, its rebadged sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, has also received a comprehensive update for 2025, making the SUV a more mature offering than before. Its variant lineup and prices have also been revised, with some variants added and a few discontinued.

2025 Maruti Grand Vitara โ€“ Whatโ€™s Changed?

  • To start with, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara now offers a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option for the AWD variants, replacing the previous 5-speed manual gearbox option.
  • To enhance the overall in-car cabin experience, the SUV also receives a host of new features, including new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, an 8-way adjustable powered driver seat, rear window sunshades, an air purifier with digital display, and an electronic parking brake system for select automatic variants.
  • Maruti has now also made the six airbags and LED cabin lights as standard fitment across the variant lineup.
  • More variants now come equipped with strong-hybrid powertrain, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and panoramic sunroof.
  • The Grand Vitara now also gets new optional variants for Zeta and Alpha variants, making the panoramic sunroof more affordable.
  • A new Delta Plus variant with strong-hybrid powertrain has also been introduced, making the entry price to the hybrid version more affordable by over Rs 1.5 lakh.

Majority of the changes are in line with the 2025 Toyota Hyryder.

Aside from the above mentioned changes, the Grand Vitara continue to get amenities like automatic LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, connected car tech, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, coloured MID, a heads-up display (HUD), Arkaymys-tuned sound system, auto AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX anchors, ESC, hill assist and much more.
