Sneak Peek: Latest Sightings of Hyundai Creta EV Testing

The electric version of the Hyundai Creta is undergoing extensive testing over an extended period. Recently, it caught testing in Jaipur, revealing some design bits of the upcoming EV.

Based on the spy images, the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to retain most of the design elements from the ongoing facelift version. However, notable changes are expected at the front and rear, including an EV-specific grille, repositioning of the Hyundai logo, and smoother bumpers. However, the most distinctive change is the aero-designed alloys, which are similar to those seen on the IONIQ 5.

While we couldn’t capture images of the interior, we observed a dual-display setup similar to its ICE version, along with copper accents below the displays. Regarding features, the Creta EV is expected to be as feature-rich as its ICE counterpart. However, the spied model only featured front and rear cameras instead of the complete 360-degree camera setup, and it lacked a sunroof. This suggests it may have been a lower variant.

Hyundai Creta EV Launch date

Although technical specifications are currently under wraps, expectations point to a minimum 40kWh battery pack delivering a range exceeding 450 kilometres.
