Tata Curvv Final Design Revealed Through Patent Image

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Curvv SUV this year as its answer to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Honda Elevate in the Indian market. Although it has already been previously shared in the concept and pre-production forms, its final design has now been revealed through a leaked patent image.

Tata Curvv SUV – How It Will Look?

As per the leaked patent image, Tata Curvv’s final design will look largely similar to the model shown at the 2023 Auto Expo. It will feature a tall bumper with a wide air dam. The inserts on both the air dam and grille bear a striking resemblance to those seen on the Harrier and Safari facelifts. The vertical headlamp placement is also akin to these two SUVs.

In profile, the Curvv will sport a coupe-like silhouette, complemented by chunky body cladding and flush-fitting door handles, creating a rugged yet clean profile. Additionally, the alloy wheel design seen in the patent aligns with its concept version.

Expect its electric version to retain this design save for a few EV-specific changes, particularly at the front end.

Powertrain Options

Tata Motors will offer the Curvv in both electrical and ICE versions, with the former being the first to go on sale, while the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) version is likely to be launched in the second half of 2024. Its ICE version is expected to be offered with both turbocharged petrol and diesel engine options.

Whispers in the automotive breeze hint that the production of Curvv EV will start around April at the brand’s Ranjangaon facility in Pune, Maharashtra. Once launched, the Tata Curvv EV is poised to engage in an electrifying duel with the highly-anticipated Hyundai Creta EV.
