Tata Motors Launches Dedicated Electric Car Showrooms In Gurugram

A few months back, Tata Motors revealed plans to open showrooms dedicated to its electric vehicle (EV) lineup. Now, the Indian carmaker has inaugurated the first of those Tata.ev dealerships in Gurugram, Haryana. More such EV-dedicated dealerships will be opened in the coming months across the nation.

  • These inaugural EV-only showrooms are situated in Sector 14 and Sohna Road in Gurugram and will welcome customers from January 7, 2024.
  • As per the carmaker, these new showrooms are made out of recycled or recyclable materials to promote sustainability.
  • These Tata.ev dealerships have a customer lounge, coffee shop, fast chargers, and a digital car configurator to help customers customize and visualize their dream vehicles online.

Currently, Tata Motors has three EVs in its passenger vehicle portfolio. These include Tiago EV, Tigor EV and Nexon.ev. The carmaker has plans to have at least 10 EVs on sale by 2025. And expect the brand to launch at least three EVs in the upcoming year, namely Curvv.ev, Punch.ev and Harrier.ev. The Safari EV, Sierra EV and the Avinya are also under development.
