Hero Passion Pro Discontinued In India; Only Xtec Variant On Sale

  • Hero MotoCorp has removed the regular variants of the Passion Pro from its India lineup.
  • The entry-level commuter motorcycle will now only be offered in the Xtec trim, which costs Rs 80,038 for the drum brake and Rs 84,438 for the disc brake variant (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). It was introduced in June last year.

Hero Passion Pro Xtec โ€“ How is it different from the standard version?

The Hero Passion Pro Xtec bears some distinct characteristics that set it apart from the standard version. These include: โ€“

  • Styling Changes: While the overall design of the Passion Pro Xtec variant is identical to the standard model, the Xtech distinct itself with a segment-first projector LED headlamp with an H-shaped integrated LED DRL, chromed 3D branding on the fuel tank, and rim tapes.

  • Features: Apart from the distinct LED headlight, the Xtec also gets a USB charging socket and an all-digital riderโ€™s display with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity that provides SMS/call alerts with the callerโ€™s name, phone battery percentage, service reminder, real-time mileage indicator, side stand alert and low fuel indicator. It also gets a side-stand engine cutoff for enhanced safety.

Engine Specifications

  • Powering the Hero Passion Pro Xtec variant is the same 110cc engine as the standard trim that makes a maximum output of 9.12PS and 9.8Nm.
  • The engine also benefits from Heroโ€™s XSENS technology and i3S Idle Stop-Start system for optimum fuel efficiency.
