Ather has discontinued its lower-spec 450 Plus e-scooter and will now solely provide the 450X model in two different pricing options — one with the Pro Pack and the other without the Pro Pack.

What is Pro Pack in 450X?
All of the features that were previously included as standard with the 450X are now incorporated into the Pro-Pack. These include:

- Coloured TFT display (touchscreen) with Bluetooth connectivity

Ather 450X without the Pro-Pack
Aside from the aforementioned features, this new base model is identical to the 450X with the Pro-Pack. Having said that, both the trims look identical and get the same hardware and powertrain with identical power outputs (6.4kW/26Nm) and range figures (146km).
Since the base-spec trim misses out on fast charging, it will take approximately 12 hours for 0 to 80 per cent charging. Also, it gets a greyscale 7-inch display with no Bluetooth connectivity.

The new base model of the Ather 450X will be ideal for those seeking a performance-focused, sporty-looking electric scooter without any flowery elements.
