Citroen offers the eC3 in two variants: Live and Feel. It comes equipped with features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, a digital instrument cluster, remote keyless entry, manual AC with heater, steering mounted audio controls, height-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBS and rear parking sensors. Similar to its ICE counterpart, it also misses out on some essential features, such as a rear wiper & washer, rear defogger, power-adjustable side mirrors, and more. Powering the Citroen eC3 is a 29.2kWh air-cooled battery pack paired with a front-axle mounted single electric motor producing 57PS of maximum power and 143Nm of peak torque. It gets two driving modes – ECO and STANDARD, and claims an ARAI-certified range of 320km. It can complete the 0 to 60 kmph sprint in 6.8 seconds before touching a top speed of 107 kmph. The EV also benefits from regenerative braking technology.

The French automaker offers 7 years/1,40,000 kms warranty on its battery pack, 5 years/1,00,000 kms warranty on the electric motor and 3 years/1,25,000 kms warranty on the vehicle itself.

Citroen eC3 bookings

Citroën will reveal the prices of the eC3 hatchback next month (exact date is yet to be revealed). We expect its prices to start from around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the electrified hatch will lock horns with the likes of the Tata Tiago EV. It can also be seen as an affordable alternative to the Tata Nexon EV Prime and Mahindra XUV400.
