MG Motor Showcased Its New MG4 Electric Cross-Hatch At Auto Expo 2023

MG Motor India has displayed the MG4 electric cross-hatch at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023. It is already available on sale in the international market.

The MG4 EV features the brand’s new Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) battery architecture, which is compatible with a variety of body styles and wheelbases ranging from 2,650mm to 3,100mm. This platform has been designed specifically for maximum battery efficiency, as well as to minimize weight and increase luggage and cabin space. The system can also be equipped with battery swap technology, ensuring its future-proofing.

It has a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup and supports up to 150kW DC fast charger that can energise it from 10 to 80 per cent in just 35 minutes.

As for features, the MG4 comes loaded up to the brim. Key highlights include:

We don’t think it will be launched in India anytime soon. This product is likely displayed by the brand to demonstrate what the brand can offer Indian consumers as a whole.
