The Mahindra Scorpio N is one of the safest cars in the Indian market. It secured a 5-star safety rating in the updated global NCAP crash test. Powering the Mahindra Scorpio N are the 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The ladder-on-frame SUV gets rear-wheel drivetrain (RWD) as standard, whereas the four-wheel drivetrain (4×4) is optional with select diesel trims.
Currently, the Mahindra Scorpio N ranges between Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and rivals the monocoque three-row SUVs like Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.
