All-Electric Citroen eC3 Interior Spied For The First Time

The electric iteration of the upcoming Citroen C3, which will be called the eC3, has been spotted countless times. This latest spy shot reveals the interior of the India-spec electric cross-hatch for the first time.

The set of leaked images of the Citroen eC3 shows the same dashboard layout as its ongoing ICE model, wrapped in an all-black theme with contrasting colour elements on the dash. We can also see the new toggle switches instead of the conventional gear lever. Citroen will also be offering a new Eco drive mode for the EV. The floating 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, 3-spoke steering wheel, and all the other controls and switches on the centre console remain unchanged.

The underpinnings of the car will also likely remain the same. However, major changes will be made underneath the bonnet. It is expected to come with multiple battery pack options, comprising LFP cells for a range of around 350km and an electric motor that will power the front wheels of the car.

Citroen is likely to launch the eC3 by the next month, probably shortly after Auto Expo 2023. Once launched, the Citroen eC3 will lock horns with the Tata Tiago EV and the upcoming Mahindra eKUV100 and Tata Punch EV. We expect its prices to start between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
