Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition Launched At Rs 33.50 Lakh

Celebrating one-year anniversary of the Tiguan mid-size SUV in India, Volkswagen has launched an Exclusive Edition of the SUV at no extra cost. It will set you back by Rs 33.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which is exactly the same as the regular model.

VW Tiguan Exclusive Edition – What’s Special?

The Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition comes packed with plenty of dealer-specific cosmetics additions that sweeten the overall appeal of the SUV. These include: –

  • Exclusive badging on the B-pillar and dashboard.
  • 18-inch Alloy wheels with five split-spokes and dynamic hub caps that keep the VW logo upright even when the wheels are rotating.
  • Rear stainless still load sill protection.
  • Aluminium pedals.
  • Cushions pillow with ‘Exclusive’ embossing

Volkswagen has offered the Tiguan Exclusive Edition in two variants: Pearl White and Oryx White.

What’s unchanged?

Apart from these new additions, the VW Tiguan Exclusive Edition remains the same as the standard model. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cyl, turbocharged petrol engine (190PS/320Nm), propelling all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission teamed up with an all-wheel drivetrain (AWD).

In the Indian market, the Volkswagen Tiguan rivals the likes of Citroen C5 Aircross, Jeep Compass, and Hyundai Tucson.
