Toyota Innova Hycross To Make Its India Debut On November 25

Toyota India has confirmed to unveil the all-new Innova Hycross on November 25, 2022, while its prices will be disclosed at the Auto Expo 2023, which is scheduled for January 2023. It is likely to be sold alongside the ongoing Innova Crysta.

Unlike the current-gen Innova Crysta which is a body-on-frame vehicle, the new Innova Hycross is expected to be underpinned on Toyota’s modular TNGA-C monocoque platform. As a result, it will be a front-wheel drive vehicle that will receive a new 2.0-litre petrol engine, mated to a self-charging strong-hybrid system. It could also get a mild-hybrid naturally aspirated petrol engine for its entry-level variants. Sadly, no diesel engine will be offered.

Apart from the new platform and engine options, the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross will also receive tons of new features such as a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, a bigger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) which could include active safety features like adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, lane keep assist, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert and forward collision avoidance.

We expect the prices of Toyota Innovs Hycross to start from around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will also be rebadged for Maruti Suzuki and sold through the Nexa dealerships.
