BMW Delivered 1,000 Units Of G 310 RR In India Since Launch

BMW has delivered 1,000 units of the G 310 RR Supersports in India in over three months since its launch in July 2022. The company also claims to have received over 2,200 bookings during the festive season.

For those who aren’t aware, the BMW G 310 RR is essentially a rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310 that ranges between Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 25,000 more expensive than its Indian counterpart. Aside from BMW-specific graphics and colour schemes, both the bikes are largely the same, featuring a 5-inch TFT colour rider’s display with Bluetooth connectivity, an all-LED lighting system, four riding modes (Rain, Urban, Sport, and Track), and ride-by-wire technology.

Powering the BMW G 310 RR is a reverse-inclined 313cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled mill that makes a maximum power output of 34PS at 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 7700rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed constant mesh transmission with an assist-&-slipper clutch.

The bike sits on Michelin Pilot Street tyres, supported by a 41mm gold-finished inverted front fork along with a preload adjustable rear monoshock. However, compared to the Apache RR 310, it lacks the adjustment function for the USD forks even as an optional fitment.
