Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition Launched

After showcasing the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition last week at an off-roading event, Hero MotorCorp has now finally launched the bike at Rs 1,52,100 (ex-showroom), making it Rs 16,122 more expensive than the standard model. While the bikemaker hasn’t specified the numbers, it will be sold in limited quantities that will be available for online bookings from 22 July 2022, 12 pm onwards till 29 July 2022, 12pm.

Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition – What’s New?

Inspired by Hero MotoSports rally bikes, the Rally Edition is essentially a more off-road-focused version of the Hero XPulse 200 4V that gets most of the Rally Kit bits as standard. Having said that, the bike comes with the following attributes over the standard model: –

  • A taller & fully adjustable front forks (250mm travel) and a fully-adjustable 10-step rear suspension (220mm travel), allowing you to tune the suspension according to your riding style and terrain.
  • 16mm more wheelbase (1426mm) and 50mm increased ground clearance (270mm).
  • Increased trail of 116mm.
  • Handlebar risers of 40mm.
  • 60mm taller seat height (885mm).
  • Extended gear lever and a larger side stand.
  • Autograph of Chunchunguppe Shivashankar Santosh on the fuel tank. For those who aren’t aware, he’s an off-road and enduro motorcycle racer.

Compared to the Rally Kit which costs Rs 46,000, the Rally Edition misses out on the flat seat and the Maxxis knobby tyres.

Aside from the above-mentioned changes, the bike remains unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the same 200cc 4-valve-oil-cooled engine, which delivers maximum power of 19.1PS at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 17.35Nm at 6500rpm. The 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres and the braking setup of the bike also remain unchanged. Even features like the LED lighting system, full digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity & call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation assist, gear indicator, Eco Mode and two Trip meters, and Single Channel ABS have been carried forward from the standard model.
