Hyundai Motors has today launched the facelifted Venue in the country at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom). A number of new features have been incorporated, along with significant cosmetic updates. Here’s a look at the exterior and interior of the upgraded Hyundai sub-4m SUV in images to know how it is different from its previous model: –

The new Hyundai Venue flaunts athletic sportiness, featuring the brand’s Sensuous Sportiness design language and brawny boxy profiles which in favor create a pretty aggressive statement.

The facelifted SUV gets Tucson-inspired ‘Parametric Jewel’ pattern studded chrome grille, with a blacked-out garnish around it. This along with the new dual-tone front bumper adds to the bold appearance of the fascia. 

Front Lighting System

Similar to the pre-facelift model, the upgraded Venue continues to get a split lighting system at the front. However, the daytime running lamps (DRLs) are now sleeker and more angular. The brand has also tweaked the upper lighting elements.

The facelifted Venue runs on new 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. This only change that have been made to the side.

At the back, you can see the new LED taillamps that feature block-shaped elements. These are connected by a thin LED light bar that is also surrounded by a piano black chrome strip. Hyundai has also tweaked the rear bumper of the Venue that now features vertically stacked reflectors, a prominent blacked-out cladding along with revamped silver faux skid plate.

Unlike the exterior, the interior design of the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift doesn’t get any design changes. However, it now comes wrapped in a new black-&-cream colour scheme, providing the cabin an airy and premium feel.

New Steering Wheel and Instrument System

The new 4-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel has been picked up from the Creta, whereas the new digitized instrument cluster with color MID (multi-info display) will remind you of the Hyundai i20 and Kia Carens. 

Upgraded Infotainment System

While the facelifted Venue continues to get an 8-inch touchscreen unit, it has been updated for a better user experience. That said, it now supports multiple user profiles and 10 regional languages. Plus, it now comes with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant that allows you to control various car functions remotely from the comfort of your home.

Enhanced Comfort & Convenience

For the first time in the segment, Hyundai is offering the upgraded SUV with a 4-way electrically-adjustable driver’s seat allowing the driver to get its desired seating position with just the touch of a button.

Also new are the armrest integrated air purifier and two-step reclining function for the rear 60:40 split-bench seat. While the former filters the air quality inside the cabin, the latter allows the seat’s back to move forward & rearward according to the passenger’s seating comfort.

Drive Mode Selector

Hyundai has provided the Venue Turbo-DCT with a rotary drive mode selector, positioned on the center console tunnel. With this, users can choose between three drive modes: Normal, Eco, And Sport.

Sound of Nature

Hyundai has also offered the Venue facelift with a unique feature called “Sound of Nature” that will intensify your journey with the multiple ambient nature sounds like the tranquil beach, lively forest, rain patter, etc.

The upgraded Hyundai Venue continues with the existing engine options: 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. However, the turbocharged gasoline mill is no longer available with manual transmission. Here’s a look at its specifications: –
