Here’s The Sneak Peek Of The 2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift

Latest Update: 2022 facelifted Hyundai Venue has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh. Click here for more details.

The sub-4m SUV space is primarily dominated by Korean SUVs like Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. While the Sonet was recently updated with new features, the Hyundai Venue is due for a facelift update. It is expected to be launched on June 16. While there’s almost a month left in its official arrival, its exterior design has already been leaked via a 3D model configuration.

The first and foremost change on the 2022 Hyundai Venue is the new sharper front end, inspired by the new generation Tucson. It features a new & wider cascading front grille with ‘Parametric Jewel’ pattern, surrounded by blacked-out elements. While it continues to get a split headlamp set up, the design of the daytime running elements (DRLs) has been revamped. Besides, there’s also the new front bumper, giving the whole front end a bolder appearance.

The side profile of the urban SUV remains essentially unchanged except for the new five-spoke alloy wheels. Similar to the front, the rear end is also quite polarizing, featuring connected LED taillights and a restyled bumper with prominent black cladding.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any images to tell you about the interior changes. However, the brand is likely to revamp it slightly with new upholstery and probably an updated center console. It could also receive a host of new features such as a bigger infotainment system, Bose sound system, front ventilated seats, and a digital instrument console.

Under the hood, the facelifted Venue is expected to receive a more powerful version of the 1.5-liter diesel engine, paired with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as the Kia Sonet. Besides, the ongoing 83PS 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated and 120PS 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engines will be carried forward.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift

Expect Hyundai to price the new Venue at a significant premium over the ongoing model, ranging from Rs 7.11 lakh to Rs 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Pre-launch bookings for the upgraded Venue have also been begun at select dealerships across the country.
